Praise the Lord! He is faithful, forgiving, willing to teach my heart over and over again. He is always good.

Everlasting Light...Isaiah 60:19-20

 

"The sun shall no longer be your

light by day,

Nor for brightness shall the moon

give light to you;

But the LORD will be to you

an everlasting light,

And your God your glory.

Your sun shall no longer go down,

Nor shall your moon withdraw itself;

For the LORD will be your everlasting light,

And the days of your mourning

Isaiah 60:19-20

When the sun sets, the moon shines...and the cycle keeps spinning according to His magnificent glory. 

There is always light.  We are never left in total darkness.

What a beautiful reminder of His faithfulness and foresight into what is to come!

We long for, need light because He created us to long for, need Him. 

Shine on Jesus, shine on.  We run to You, the Light of the world.

Blood Red Maple

Did you know that new growth on an autumn blaze maple is blood red? 

For a week I have been perplexed knowing He is trying to tell my heart something. I realized this morning that new growth didn't appear until Ash Wednesday.

Lent. 

What a beautiful reminder of new growth only possible because of His sacrifice. 

He is so wonderful!
